[ Notes | Director's Bio | Production & Distribution | Technical ]

Pseudo is a song about change, where Shy-Anne shifts from someone who isn't really her, into her true self. This concept is reflected in the imagery of the video, which works with the metaphor of glass to reflect the central idea of transformation. The tone of the music is feminine and esoteric, but with an edge; the broken glass on the beach almost cuts her foot, which sends us into the abstract world where in the background to the performance, glass is being created. Glass comes from sand, so the video comes full circle when we return tot he beach to see Shy-Anne free and happy, in white clothes and smiling. The transformation is complete.
