Two is company, three is definitely a crowd. Especially for a young boy who's had his mother's sole love and attention and is not impressed with the idea of sharing her. The Other is a beautiful coming of age story that follows this little boy with his potential father-in-law as they embark on a forced trip to sell a van. Their journey takes them to various cities and villages as they learn about each other and eventually create a strong father - son bond.

Director's Bio

Mehdi Rahmani was born in Iran. He graduated in film making from I.R.I.B. University in 2005. He is the Member of Iranian young cinema society, Iranian photographer's society and Iranian documentary filmmakers' society. The Other is his first fictional feature.
