This film essentially highlights the gradually dwindling culture of Tibet in the small community of Montreal. Namtso Chhoyang represents the oldest generation in exile. Kalsang Dolma is a perfect example of the middle generation with both the eastern and the western culture. Finally, the youngest generation, Gesar who was born and raised in the west and shows very little interest in embracing his own tradition and culture.
